Si mie mi s-a parut cam alambicate argumentele lor. Poate din punctul de vedere al unui fizician, chiar asa stau lucrurile. Dar ceasul nu este purtat de fizician, ci de "un om"; pe care nu il intereseaza momentul cinetic al masei oscilante, ci cat de repede se armeaza ceasul si rezerva de functionare a acestuia.

Cei care au avut rabdare, si au asteptat cu achizitionarea Ceasului Mecanic de vis , incepand cu data de 26.03.2009 mai au inca o optiune :

The Constant Escapement has been the talk of the town since its launch in Geneva on April 7th, 2008. With the great success of this introduction, all are now eagerly waiting for the very first watch to be produced with this new constant force escapement, also on the reliability and accuracy that the watch housing this new technical advancement can achieve.
The most commonly asked question is perhaps the one relating to the strength of the silicium blade, whether the blade is not too fragile when manipulated.
The above picture shows that this is a one piece construction and it is not too fragile! Again, once the constant escapement is assembled, the constraints under which the blade is subjected to are way beyond its elastic limit. Also, the blade is extremely light because of its reduced dimension and of the low density of the silicium (2.33g/cm3).
In the event of a shock, the light weight construction means very few constraints on the blade.
Owing to the unique property of the silicium, in the long run, the blade will not loose its properties, because it is made out of silicium single crystal - Monocrystal materials are not subject to fatigue.
Also, the effect of wear will be very limited on the escapement. Silicon oxide is a extremely hard material. As far as the blade is concerned, we can also see that it has very few and very low friction points. And as far the escapement wheels are concerned, the friction coefficient between ruby and silicon is excellent (it does not require lubrication!), plus the contact is made between two convex parts.

Claudiu, ai spus ca vrei sa vezi o revolutie in ceasornicarie si ca te-ai saturat de "rotite". Cred ca a venit momentul...un ceas cu "corzi"...

Interesant, dar dupa co-axial am invatat sa fiu mai sceptic - eu personal il voi considera o uriasa realizare doar daca va mentine la 3 ani sub 1 s/zi si va avea ceva sanse statistice de a dura minim 20 de ani ...user scrie: ...

De curand si in premiera pt. RO la Splend'Or - Unirea au adus cateva modele din gama Citizen - Campanola. Finisajele sunt exceptionale si preturile pe masura : aprox. intre 5.000-10.000 lei. Chiar daca nu cumparati, merita studiate ''live''.

Asa e toata gama, (foarte) incarcata datorita complicatiilor multiple.
